Spring time wanderings

Spring is one of our favorite times to spend in the city. We always make time to go for walks as soon as spring-like weather shows up, yet there never seems to be enought time for us to be able to go all over the city to gawk at all the pretty trees. Fortunately for us we live a couple of blocks from Central Park where we can always findÂ them. Last month we made sure we made time to specifically go look at our favorite blooms and it was so worth it. Don’t you agree?

La primavera es uno de nuestros tiempos favoritos para disfrutar en NYC. Â Siempre nos aseguramos de tenerÂ tiempo para ir a caminar en cuanto el clima cambia, pero parece que nunca hay suficiente para poder ir por toda la ciudad a ver todos los lindos Ã¡rboles. Afortunadamente vivimos solo a unas cuadras de Central Park donde siempre los podemos encontrar. El mes pasado planeamos una tardeÂ para ir especÃficamente a ver nuestras flores favoritas y la verdad valiÃ³ la pena esforzarnos. No lo creen?

Happy Monday! The last couple of weeks have been delightful…in weather of course. Spring officially arrived and guess what? It actually looks like spring! We’ve taken a leisure walk every chance we’ve had, even if it’s been a quick one. This time last year we were on our way to NYC and when we got here it was still in winter mode. Â This year, trees and flowers have started to bloom and the grass is looking greener every day at central park. It really does make a difference in your daily existence. At least in my opinion. I walk around like a googly eyed tourist just looking at the cute little flowers everywhere. Hope you’ve been enjoying your springtime as well. Have a lovely week! Â Feliz lunes! Las Ãºltimas semanitas han sido un deleite…con el clima claro. Â La primavera ha llegado oficialmente y que creen? Verdaderamente parece primavera! Hemos salido a caminar cada oportunidad que tenemos, aunque sea una caminadita rapidita. Â El aÃ±o pasado en estos dÃas venÃamos en camino a NYC y cuando llegamos aquÃ seguÃa el invierno. Â Este aÃ±o los arbolitos y las flores ya empezaron a brotar y el pasto en central park se ve mÃ¡s verde cada dÃa. De verdad este clima hace una gran diferencia en la vida diaria…por lo menos en la mÃa. Â Salgo a caminar y parezco turista volteando a todos lados a ver las florecitas.
