I’ve struggled with writing this blog on and off since I started it. Mainly it’s been because I always compare myself to other people. Undoubtedly this always turns into a never ending vicious cycle of “I’m-not-good-enoughs” that take over the rest of my day ruining it. I know we aren’t supposed to, but sometimes our minds loose the battle and it just happens. I also struggle with lazyness and I hate it. I’ve decided to really make an effort and not let this affect me anymore. This will now be a place for me to keep track of our wanderings if only for our personal records. The older I get, the more I realize how much of our lives we forget. And also how many pictures we take that never see the light outside of our hard drives. This is really sad to me. I’ve also realized how much we miss friends that we don’t get to see often. So I will also be making more of an effort to share snippets of our lives to family and dear friends that are far from us.
He batallado escribiendo este blog desde que lo empecé. Principalmente ha sido porque siempre me comparo con otra gente. Esto indudablemente siempre se convierte en un ciclo vicioso de “no soy lo suficientemente buena” y me termina arruinando el dÃa completo. Se que no debo hacerlo pero a veces la mente pierde la batalla y esto sucede. La otra razón es la flojera, y la odio. He decidido que debo hacer un intento de no dejar que esto suceda más. De ahora en adelante este lugar sera un espacio en donde recordar y contar nuestras andanzas porque entre más vieja me hago, más me doy cuenta de todo lo que se nos olvida. Y tambien de cuantas fotos tomamos que nunca ven la luz del dÃa y viven en nuestras computadoras. Esto se me hace super triste. Otra cosa que tambien me dà cuenta es de lo tanto que extrañamos a nuestros amigos que no tenemos cerca. Me esforzaré más en compartir de nuestras vidas a familiares y amigos queridos que estan lejos de nosotros.
