As some of you may know I’m in love with everything french…and slightly obsessed.  They have actually adopted me as a citizen. Ok so that’s not true, but I am an honorary French person. Ok…that’s not true either (maybe one day!), but I have made France my honorary country.  Last Thursday, July 14, the French celebrated Bastille Day and you KNOW I insisted that we join the celebration. My sweet husband indulged me of course and on we went down to the mini celebration in Tribeca. It was a delight to watch people playing Pétanque and eating french pastries while watching cancan girls dance. A fun afternoon indeed. Next time we’ll try to get there earlier so I can get a free hat! Algunos de ustedes ya saben que estoy enamorada de todo lo francés….y un poco obsesionada.  Me han adoptado como ciudadana. Ok eso no es cierto, pero si soy una francesa honoraria. Ok…eso tampoco es cierto (alomejor algún día!), pero yo he adoptado a Francia como mi país.  El jueves pasado, 14 de julio, los franceses celebraron el Día de la Bastilla y CLARO que insistí en celebrar.  Y por supuesto mi esposo lindo concedió ir a la mini celebración en Tribeca.  Fue un deleite ver a los jugadores de Petanca y tambien comer pastelitos franceses mientras las chicas cancán bailaban.  No saben lo divertido! A ver si la próxima vez podemos llegar más temprano para que me toque un sombrerito gratis!
