I don’t know about you, but we’re obsessed with macarons. For those of you that don’t know…according to Wikipedia “a macaron is a sweet confectionery made with egg whites, icing sugar, granulated sugar, almond powder or ground almond, and food coloring.” We’ve actually never had them, they’re just so pretty that we love them.  Neither of us love meringue type desserts…they’re too sweet, but we really really want to try these delicious looking desserts.  We missed our chance last year when we were in Paris somehow, but there’s plenty of places that have them here in the city.  Hopefully we’ll find just the right one that makes us fall in love (for real) with them. No se ustedes, pero nosotros estamos obsesionados con los macarrones.  Para los que no saben….Wikipedia “el macaron es un pastelito tradicional francés hecho de clara de huevo, almendra molida, azúcar glas y azúcar.” La verdad nunca los hemos probado, pero son tan bonitos que nos encantan.  A ninguno de los dos nos gustan los postres tipo merengue….son demasiado dulces, pero de verdad queremos probar estos postres que lucen tan deliciosos.  Por alguna razón no los probamos en Paris el año pasado, pero hay varios lugares aqui en la ciudad que los hacen.  Espero encontremos el lugar perfecto que nos haga enamorarnos de ellos.
