Oh my! Did I really take that long of a break between the last 2 posts?! After May came, the rest of last year flew by and sadly we get lazier and lazier about documenting everything.  I really want to try more because I’m so scared about forgetting wonderful moments.  I’ll just give you the quick short version…. We finally made our “yearly, big” trip.  It had been 3 years since our last one and that was waaay too long! This time we decided to visit Bruges and Brussels on top of our favorite: Paris.  We had such an amazing time! Thank you delta miles for making this possible!  (you would think I wore the exact same thing every day for 10 days, but I didn’t….I just didn’t bring extra jackets or scarves. lesson learned!). De verdad me tardé tanto entre las últimas dos entradas?! Oh cielos!! Bueno después de mayo, el resto del año voló y tristemente nos da más y más flojera documentar nuestras vidas.  Y quiero esforzarme más por hacerlo porque me da miedo de olvidarme de los momentos maravillosos. Les daré la versión súper corta…..Finalmente se nos hizo irnos a nuestro “viaje anual” que ya teníamos 3 años que no lo hacíamos. Esta vez decidimos ir a Brujas y Bruselas aparte de nuestro favorito: Paris. Nos la pasamos increíble! Gracias a las millas de delta por hacerlo todo posible! (pensarían que me puse la misma ropa durante todo el viaje pero no….solo que no traje otras chamarras o bufandas. pero no se preocupen, ya aprendí!). Para las fotos del viaje vayan AQUÍ.

We spent the summer trying to stay cool, dear friends moved back to NYC and we started our season of picnicking which continued well into the fall.   We love picnics, did you know that? Anyway… my family visited. I took a quick trip to SD. I grew another year older. I took another stab at calligraphy. We tried glass blowing. Nick’s parents visited. Friends came to visit. We built a tiny snowman. We spent the holiday trifecta (Thanksgiving, Christmas & new year) with friends and had a blast. Did you know that good food, pjs, wine and friends will make any holiday a great one? Thank you to all that made it a wonderful year. You know who you are and we love you!

Nos pasamos el verano tratando de refrescarnos, nuestros queridos amigos regresaron a vivir a NYC y empezamos la época de los picnics que continuó hasta el otoño. Si saben que nos encantan los picnics verdad? Continuando….nos visitó mi familia.  Me fuí por unos días a SD. Cumplí un año más. Intente la caligrafía una vez más. Tomamos una clase de vidrio soplado. Nos visitaron los papás de Nico. Nos visitaron amigos.  Construimos un mono de nieve pequeñito. Nos pasamos el día de acción de gracias, la navidad y el año nuevo con amigos y nos la pasamos increíble. Saben que con buena comida, vinito, pijamas y amigos se convierte cualquier día festivo en un día espectacular? Gracias a todos los que hicieron que este último año se convirtiera en un año maravilloso. Ya ustedes saben quienes son y los queremos mucho!
