Well…I took the advanced jewelry class in the spring and it was a huge FAIL! Don’t get me wrong I got a B…but all we did was enameling and frankly I don’t care for it. I love how it looks, but I don’t care to create it. It’s a hard process and I’m a VERY clumsy person so that led to lots of disasters.
I’ll share some pics of my projects anyways….
1. Self portrait (which I’m horrible at to begin with…combined with melted glass = bad grade in class!) – all copper. Nick loved it though and I kinda did too!
2. Roccoco inspired enamel ring – brass, copper wire (for cloisonné).
3. Theme: Twins. Process : casting with cuttle fish bones!! One of the pieces had to be cast and the other one could be either cast or fabricated. I chose 2 locks one on the longer chain was cast.
Lock necklace – sterling and fine silver (for casting). This was my favorite up until the point I melted the enamel and got cracks! oh well
I was on the front page of Etsy today with my pear card! Thanks Anne for creating such a wonderful treasury!
My husband and I love going on all sorts of picnics. So much so that we travel with our picnic blanket. We even had a fun picnic in front of the Eiffel Tower!!! After which we noticed that the Parisians really know how to set up fancy picnics on a daily basis….and we also noticed their super cool roll-away picnic table. So once we got back we decided to get one and I’m super excited to say we got this one yesterday at Crate & Barrel it’s called Table in a Bag…..and we LOVE IT and can’t wait to use it!
Feliz Día del Padre!!! Gracias por TODO! Te quiero muchísimo!
What luck! The Renegade Craft Fair in Brooklyn happened to be the same weekend we were in NY!!! It was a fun little adventure despite the crazy heat. Here’s some fun photo booth pics from the day! Did you really think we wouldn’t do our mustaches?
Just a quick one to share my new absolute FAVORITE! It’s PosieTint by Benefit and it gives you the loveliest blushy pink shade on your cheeks. Don’t be scared of the bright pink color. I promise it’s super natural and as a plus it can be used on your lips too! I love it!
You can find it anywhere they sell Benefit products.

As some of you may know…opening an Etsy store is quite a process and a very scary one. I am thankful to have found a support group that is pretty wonderful. I joined the Etsy Latino team and though I still get overwhelmed with Etsy I have to say I’m glad to have their help and support. Our team is comprised of super hard-working talented artists that are passionate about what they do.
Please stop by our website and show your love and check out all of their amazing work! (and feel free to shop too!)
Also if you are a part of the Etsy community and haven’t joined a team I encourage you to do so. There’s many to choose from so I’m sure you’ll find one that works best for you!
Besos,
~mrs. B
