It’s restaurant week here in NY(…or better said restaurant weeks since it’s actually two instead of one), so of course we made reservations.  We had the pleasure of going to Bar Boulud for lunch last Tuesday and we weren’t disappointed.  It was the best lunch we’ve had in a long time. And to make it even better, right after we sat down we were surprised by one of the hostesses telling us that one of our parents had called and had taken care of our lunch!!!! Is that cool or what?! Thanks mama and papa B!! We loved our meal and we love you! Aquí en NY estamos celebrando “Restaurant Week” (bueno son dos semanas, no una), así que obvio hicimos reservaciones.  El martes pasado tuvimos el placer de ir a comer a Bar Boulud y no nos decepcionaron.  Fue la mejor comidita que hemos comido en mucho tiempo.  Y para hacer las cosas mejor, en cuanto nos sentaron nos dieron la mejor sorpresa: uno de nuestros papás hablo y nos disparó la comida!!! Que padre no?? Gracias a mamá y papá B!! Nos encantó nuestra comida y los queremos mucho!

Later that day we headed down to 42nd street to witness Manhattanhenge.  Esa tarde fuimos a la calle 42 a ver el fenómeno llamadao Manhattanhenge.

And P.S. We LOVE macarons! Sadly there’s no photo because I managed to squish them and they looked all gross, but that didn’t take away their deliciousness.   Y P.D. Nos encantan los macarones! Tristemente no tengo fotos porque los aplasté y quedaron todos feos, pero eso no les quitó lo delicioso.
